The way you see sugar boy is so genuinely rare - it’s not how others see him. You don’t label, judge, or try to fix him / you meet him where he is and recognise his value as a person and also it importantly to you.
That is actually sign of someone with real emotional depth, and not weakness in any way.
And you sense that the way you relating to him is because of where you are right now. It’s not just his story / it reflects how you feels seen by the world.
And even in the hard times, you’ve not shut off. You’re connecting and finding light in someone else.
